shortage and fuse out but radio plays

I replaced my battery but the problem still continues where it seems it will shut off when in motion. I was told my alternater is fine. I have 263,000 miles on my car. Can this be the end of the road? Please advise

Are you able to restart each time it stalls? Does it occur only when accelerator is released?
When engine stalled, do the dash indicator lights comes on immediately?
Not likely to be a fault with the engine itself unless you have other issies such as overheating, coolant losses etc.
