Auto start and stop function triggered during traffic light, as soon as the engine stopped, the short squeaky sound followed.
It’s not happened to the break, I checked.

Hi,

Is the sound loud enough to record and upload for me to hear? Also, make sure you notify the dealership, so it is covered under warranty.

Let me know.

Hi,

I am so sorry, but I can't hear it. I did notice something that sounded like a vibration, but not a squeal.

I hear a noise, I just can't identify it. It doesn't sound like a squeak to me. Does this only happen after start-up and before placing it in gear? Also, do you hear it if the AC is off?

Hi Joe, thank you for waiting.

I do not know where to pinpoint the spot the sounds just really short. Please see two videos below.

When I install the running board, I can see the car underneath,
For this car underneath, should I need to do the weatherproof spray or rust proof paint? (For some parts)

Hi,

I watched and still can't hear anything. Have you had the vehicle back to the dealership?

As far as rust proofing, it is really based on where you live. I'm in PA, so if I don't do it, the car is rusting through within 5 years. If you are in an area that gets snow and salt is used on the road, certainly rustproof it.

Let me know.

I did bring to dealership, the mechanic told me that he didn’t hear anything at first time,
He heard it at the second time I mentioned, but he said it’s normal.

Regarding the rust proofing, any chance to do it myself or better to bring to the mechanic shop?

Hi,

The rustproofing can get messy. LOL I do my own. I use a product called Fluid Film. Originally, I would buy it in aerosol cans. It got expensive, so I purchased a spray kit from them and now buy it by the gallon. It makes it a lot less expensive, but again, it makes a mess. I cover everything that gets hot such as the exhaust because it smells so bad when it burns off. I remove my tail lights, headlights, and as much as I can to get all the points. There are plugs on my truck on the doors and rockers that I remove and spray as well as inside the frame. I attached a pic below of what I use. That came from Amazon.

Take care,

Joe
