I don't know where to begin putting in the rear shock, strut spring assembly. Can you get me step-by-step instructions for my wife's car listed above XLS? Thank you

Hi,

Are you replacing the entire strut assembly or only the shock and reusing the coil springs? If it is the strut assembly, you need to remove the rear back portion of the seat to access the upper retainer bolts for the struts. Then there are two bolts at the bottom that hold the unit in place.

I attached a pic below. Let me know if you have purchased the entire strut assembly (loaded strut) or just the shock.

Take care,

Joe

Thanks Joe, I got the loaded shock/spring/strut assembly's 2 front from e-bay/and 2 rears from Amazon with no instructions in either box. I was in the trunk looking for the towers with three nuts, was not even thinking about the back seat, getting old, I guess. Again, I thank you guys.
