I've had my manual transmission car for a couple months now and the gears are slowly but surely going out because they were slipping. Some days they would work fine, some days you would have to really work at it to get it into mostly third gear and fifth gear and first gear you had to be at a complete stop for that to work. Well, now reverse worked but I can't get it to do anything else it's completely stuck. what could that be?

How does the clutch pedal feel? If okay the clutch disc can fall apart, the material from the disc gets stuck in different places at different times which causes the problem you are describing. This guide can help you understand as well, the transmission will need to be removed and the clutch replaced. I have included instructions in the diagrams below so you can see how the job is done. Check the slave cylinder for leaks.
