We are having a problem shifting our 1ton. We have replaced the clutch, clutch plate, cylinder and everything related to the clutch and it out, close to $600 in parts. We are still having the same issue as prior to the replacement. In order to get it into 1st gear you have to shut the truck off put it in gear and then go from there but it shifts hard and as soon as you start the truck it jumps forward like the clutch isnt in. The only thing we can think of is the clutch fork is slipping. I just wanted to know if you could give any advice before we pull it all back out again.

We've replaced those parts. Bled the lines twice. We're really at a loss, in all the clutch jobs he has done over the years on many vehicles our truck is the 1st that we have had this problem with. The only way the truck will shift is by speed shifting at the moment and the only way to get it into 1st gear is shut the truck off put it in gear but you have to have your foot pressing hard on the brake because the truck immediately takes off even with the clutch pressed to the floor.
