I have the truck listed above eco boost. I replaced the shift solenoid in it now. When I shift into gear it doesn't go into gear and doesn't give me a code. Just says on the screen "shift to park".

When replacing it I replaced the shift solenoid transmission filter and 8q of fluid.

Hi,

When you say, "I shift into gear it doesn't go into gear doesn't give me a code," are you using a scan tool that can read codes from all modules? In other words, are you scanning the can-bus? If not, try that first.

Here is a link that explains how it's done:

Next, the next thing is if there is a transmission line pressure issue. If there isn't enough pressure, it won't go into gear. However, that should set a code.

Let me know if you have scanned the can-bus and we'll go from there. Also, let me know if the linear pressure control solenoid was replaced.

Take care,

joe
