Shift solenoids location

Got my car to a scanner and gives me code do not remember number, but it says shift solenoid B needs replacement. However, I do not know where this is located. Will someone please tell me about this?

Good afternoon,

I need the code to give you exact information.

You have solenoids that control the valve body in the transmission. They are commanded on and off by the PCM. It is based on inputs from the engine and the ABS system.

Codes rarely identify bad parts, just failed systems.

The solenoids are located in the valve body of the transmission.
