4l60e in limp mode second and drive, no low or overdrive. is it possible to disconnect comp. and shift manually?

Good morning,

No, it cannot be disconnected since it is controlled by the ECM.

You most likely have a valve body issue in the transmission. I would start by changing the fluid and filter and see if there is any metal in the bottom of the pan.
