I noticed the grinding noise and how shifting into third and fourth gear isn’t as easy. That the cables need to be replaced. Before I disengage the cables. What length of cables do I need? I found at AutoZone that they have them but have different lengths of stroker shift cables.

Did you know you could adjust the cables? Here is how, so you may not need to replace them. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

I did that and did help getting it into third gear but still get the grinding and a bit of a hassle of getting into third gear but still a struggle getting it into fourth gear though. That’s when it was mentioned that I may need to replace the shift cables. I ordered them a couple of days ago.
