I have a problem with my vehicle, when I am at a complete stop like at an intersection, my car starts to shake. My car does not shake while I press on the brake and my steering wheel does not shake while I press on the brake. In order for me to stop the shaking I have to switch gears to neutral, that is the only way it will stop shaking.

Did you recently buy this vehicle or did this issue just start?

I have driven a lot of these vehicles and felt what you are talking about. There is a chance that there is a motor mount that is failing. So we should inspect those just to make sure they are not grounded.

The other possible cause would be a vacuum leak. This is rare on this car but it could happen and cause this issue.

If the mounts are okay and there is no vacuum leak then I suspect this is normal. Clearly I am not driving the vehicle but just the way you described the issue, I have experienced the exact same thing in a lot of these Jeep's.

So that means I am not sure this will be resolved. However, if you have owned this vehicle for some time and this is new then I suspect you will find one of the mounts is the issue. I attached the info on replacing these.
