I got new tires and rims about a month ago and when I drive my steering wheel shakes really bad at like fifty to sixty mph and I just got them rotated and balances today and it is still doing the same thing. My dad says it is the adapters but I think it needs to be aligned. I do not know for sure but I do not want to spend any more money on something that is not needed. Thank you

What do you mean by "adapters"? In my world of suspension and alignment, there is no place for adapters, lowering kits, or raised trucks. Give me all the pertinent details related to altered ride height, non-standard wheels, and anything else that might be related, and we will figure this out.

Alignment won't solve tire shake. Tire wear and handling issues yes. I suspect your father is correct. Wheel adapters are all over the place in terms of quality and fitment. So are many rims. Please give us more information, tire size, rim size, adapter type and why you used them instead of getting the correct rims to fit.
