When driving down the road the van will start shaking side to side as if I tire is loose. However, when you turn the steering wheel just slightly it stops. I have jacked it up tried seeing if the front passenger tire is loose, it is not and no give. The tires are new and had the weights checked. What can this be?

Did this start before the new tires? If no then I would check them first, a tire can be out of round and cause problems. If it was there before this then you need to check the rear tires and rims for play or damage, check that the suspension bushings are not bad. Do the same in the front. If you see nothing obvious, swap the tires from front to rear. Did that change anything? If yes then you probably have a bad tire or rim.
