Front end shaking while driving and when stopped

is the engine running smoothly? If the front is shaking with out moving you may have a chronic misfire in the engine. Did the shake stop after a short time with the engine still running? if so look for very worn suspension components, it is a bit hard to understand the exact problem, so any more information will be a great help as well.

Thank you for responding back very helpful. Yes, the engine is running smoothly i took it to the mechanic and he said he could not find anything after it did it the first time. i parked the car and did not drive it until two days later. it has not done it again.

The check engine light also started flashing in and out as well. should i take it to another mechanic and get it looked at?

Yes, if the check light has been on there will be a stored code. get this scan done and post the code for further assistance.
