was told by new mechanic that code shows:
plugs and coils $627;
air meter and boot $882;
front brakes $569
I am senior female on my own and don't know. dealer did tell me about brakes but others seem awful high

I would like to know what codes were set, but I would be getting a second opinion anyway, what are the symptoms you are experiencing?

no symptoms just sevice engine soon light came on

I think that you should go get a second opinion, if you had no symptoms why are they wanting to do so much work?
