The service airbag light turned on?

I have a service airbag light. I have a scanner but don't have any SIR codes. I did replace the ignition key cylinder and the hazard switch in which i had to remove the steering wheel. I don't know if it had the code before I replaced the switches because the vehicle did not have a key when I got it.

Yep, that will do it, the clock spring (spiral wire) has gone out which is common. Here is howe to change the part out to fix it. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
