Serpentine replacement, serpentine belt diagram

So i have to take the tensioner completely off to put the serpentine belt on?

Hello, I'm Danny.

No, you will not have to take the tensioner off. Simply using a serpentine belt tool you will move to tensioner clockwise to release pressure off of the belt. You will the move tensioner again clockwise to be able to install new belt. The tensioner is spring loaded so it will take some effort to move.
