I got my engine out of a 1996 Pontiac Grand am and need to know what has to be switched over to work?

More than just the pulleys. The 1996 is much different than the 2000 you have. Hollander says the 2000 can use a late 1999 through 2002 engine. The 1996 engine would work up to a 1998.
