How to replace the sensors on transfer case?

I know there is a vehicle speed sensor and shaft output and input speed sensor for the other 2. My question is, are the output and input the same and do they use the same pigtail? I can find the VSS and output sensor but no input sensor so I’m thinking might be same they do the same thing.

Sure, both the VSS and tail shaft speed sensors or in the transfer case tail housing here is the location in the diagrams below. Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
