I thought I was trying to remove the engine temperature coolant sensor, (etc), but now I don't think that's what it is. The new etc sensor I bought looks different. I was told there etc was close to the thermostat housing and goes into the engine and that's what this does. Whatever this sensor is, it's leaking antifreeze. It's sitting in a pool of it. I can't figure out how to get the electrical thing that plugs into it off either. The plastic housing that goes over it splits in half and came off already and I don't want to break it. I will try and send a video and pictures.

Thanks for the video and images they helped. The coolant sensor rarely leaks but you never know. I would use page towels to help dry the coolant up, then rent a pressure tester for the auto parts store (usually free) and pump the system up and use your flashlight to see where the coolant is coming from, so you don't fix a problem that is not there. I marked the image below where I think it is coming from and I have a guide that should help you as well.

To remove the electrical connector, you will need a pick tool to remove the metal U clip or press the clip inward to release the connector. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
