Sensor connector broke?

I was changing my radiator fan. As I removed it one of the sensors below and behind the fan cracked and broke. It is basically in the top of the transmission. It leads from the belt drives across the radiator fans and goes down near the catalytic converter. It is just a two prong plug with red plastic around it. I'm not sure but my car doesn't start anymore.

Hi,

It may be for the crankshaft position sensor. What color are the wires to the connector? Also, I need you to check for spark to the plugs.

Let me know. Also, take a look at the attached pic and see if the wires are the colors indicated.
