Seized ignition barrel

Key won't turn in the barrel so can't start the car and steering lock is on. Any ideas on what fault might be? I have tried spraying WD-40 into lock but had no effect.

Hi:

Have you tried a different key? I have seen the key wear out to a point it no longer will release the tumblers in the lock cylinder.

Take a look through this link. It provides ideas that may help. I realize you already have tried a lubricant, but there are additional options.
