Security light flashed fast and stopped

I pulled the ignition fuse by accident looking for a parasitic draw. The security light began flashing rapidly. Now the car seems to have power. But when you go to crank it or start it. It does nothing. No click. Dash light shit off until returned to the on position. Help please

Hello,

Well, you should reset the computer first off. Take off both battery terminals and short them together for 30 seconds. This should get you back to before your pulled the fuse. Make sure the battery has a full charge, but your trying to find a battery drain? How old is the battery?

Battery is fully charged. And it has a parasitic draw somewhere. I was using a multi-meter looking for it. I got the car to run again. Had to override the security system. But still have a hard draw. Does in about 8 hours with the vehicle off and no keys on ignition. Any ideas?

Hello,

Have you ruled out the battery being old, do this by disconnecting it over night after it being fully charged. If in the morning it is low its the battery. Slow drains can be tricky. I usually will use the battery terminal spark. If its drawing you will get a tiny spark when touching the bat cable to the battery terminal. Then one by one pull a fuse until that little spark doesn't happen. This will get you to the right circuit that is doing it. Once you know the right circuit we can look at the components on it for one that failing.

It's fuse 36 central timer/electrical components. That's drawing with the car parked and keys out of ignition. It's brand new and holds charge overnight.

Okay, it's going to be one of the parts of that circuit that draining it. Can you tell whats not working now that fuse is removed? I'll try to see what is in the wiring diagram for that fuse.

Okay, I uploaded the circuit listed for fuse 36. Looks like a battery saver relay could be your issue oddly enough seeing it's draining the battery. Check it out and check everything on this diagram.
