Security light is on, but not flashing.

My car cranks over good but wont start. security light is on, but not flashing. how do i get it to start?

We need to find out what codes are in the system. This will point us in the right direction. Take a look at these attachments especially the first where it says that you need see the diagnostic steps and getting the codes is the first step.
