One of my injectors washers is starting to fall apart and it is leaking fuel. I was told just to replace the washer as the injector is fine.i took it to a diesel specialist and they said I needed a new injector but quoted me and insane price ex vat. So I found a used injector from the same car but it's an automatic. The injector is tested so it is good but needs the washer. The vehicle listed above is a 2.0 Diesel injector - Siemens - part ID 9657144580. Do I need a specific washer to match the injector or the vehicle? And also is it compatible with manual transmission? I would really appreciate the advice as the part is on its way. Thanks

Welcome to 2CarPros.

Yes, you will need to get the o-rings specific to your vehicle. Otherwise, you could end up with a leak again. I will also tell you that if the vehicle was running fine (other than the leak) then chances are the original injector is fine.

If you go to a parts store, take the injector with you. They should be able to match one up for you.

Take care,
Joe
