I am looking for a possible explanation as to why my front passenger seat is producing a rattle so often over normal road surfaces. The sound is easily duplicated by shaking the seat a bit. I have attached a video of the sound.

Clearly something is loose but the only way to find out what is making the noise is to start with removing the head rest and seeing if it does it. Then put the seat back in different positions to see if it does it or not. Then move the seat forward and back. Basically just look to see if there is a position it does not do it.

The next thing to do is have someone else shake the seat and you look underneath the seat and start pressing on the seat to try and limit down where the noise is coming from.

Once we know the general area that this is coming from, we can figure out what is causing it. Let us know what you find and we can go from there. Thanks
