Bought car used with an aftermarket radio. Seats are set to old owners' settings. Is there any way to reset to my desired settings without factory radio?

Hi,

Unfortunately, it can't be done. The memory seat module (MSM) cannot perform memory recall functions unless the Personalization Option is enabled. The personalization is located in the radio.

I wish I had a better answer. If I recall, if it has navigation, you can program it via that system. I believe the navigation was part of the OEM radio. If you have a separate navigation system, let me know and we'll try to figure it out.

Take care,

Joe

No, I don't have an aftermarket nav. Thanks for your help. Guess I'll have to get a used factory head unit which I was planning on anyway. Just a pain to have to set everything up on starting the car.

Hi,

You are very welcome. I wish I had a better answer. If you do get an OEM-type radio, let me know and I'll be happy to help.

Take care,
