I am planning to replace the timing chain. What is the best aftermarket sealant to use to seal the chain cover beside Toyotas?

Here are the choices I would use if I were doing the job.

Permatex Ultra Black Maximum Oil Resistance RTV Silicone Gasket Maker:

Permatex The Right Stuff Gasket Maker:

Loctite 5699 Grey RTV Silicone Gasket Maker:

HondaBond 4 RTV Silicone: Although it's a product from Honda, it is widely used across different makes and models because of its reliability and strong sealing properties.

Let us know if you need anything else.

It should be about 1/4 inch wide and 1/16 deep the best you can, make sure to seal along the inside of the bolts holes.
