when tightened down and torqued, the gasket will fill in the gap.

Okay, so do you usually have to take the brake booster off? Seen quite a few videos where they do and they do not.

Yes, I do. I make it easy on myself. It takes longer but is easier with it off.

no, just a matter of moving as much out of the way as possible. it comes up easily.
be careful of the wiring.

How do I know if my car is equipped with ABS? The manual was saying not to remove the master cylinder if it is equipped. To let a professional do it.

you would have a yellow ABS light on the dash when you turn on the key that would say ABS.
you do not remove the master cylinder, just unbolt it and pull it forward and over with the lines attached.

Is there any tricks to it? I just cannot seem to get either one off. I loosened the master cylinder.

Did you remove it? then you need to remove the booster. Did you do that?
