When I take a right turn, there is a scraping/grinding noise coming from the front of my car. I have only noticed this after driving for a bit and when doing slow turns/turning the wheel when parked. I have not noticed the same sound when I turn left. While I’m unsure if this is related, or if a problem at all, when I turn my wheel to either side when parked there is an airy sound and a faint whining sound that goes away when the wheel is centered.

The airy and whiny sound is your power steering pump and is normal up to a point. The scraping sound when you turn right could be your splash shield in your fender. It could have come loose or a retainer broke and it became curled over. The best way to find out is a good old fashioned under vehicle inspection! This might be possible if you are trying to diy it but it is for safety sake that you have the front end thoroughly inspected by a front end specialist. Some shops will even do a free inspection, just call around. Safety first always!
