Scanners will not connect

Has had a crank no start, intermittent. Check engine light is on. Immobilizer light is on when running.

Does the scanner not connect physically or does it light up and say there is No Communication to the vehicle? I have attached a few tutorials for you to view. Hope this helps and hope to hear from back from you soon. Thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hi Danny.

Obd 2 Scanner connects via Kia adapter and lights up, tries to connect but cannot.

Austel MaxiScan MS309. Yes says no communication.

Hello,

If I can jump in here this is the wiring diagrams for the ALDL and a guide to help you test it. Make sure the ALDL is getting power from the fuel injector fuse 30 amp.
