My Daughter poured a quart of coolant into the oil crankcase by mistake. She drove 1 mile before realizing the mistake. She shut the car down and had it towed to a repair shop that drained the oil/coolant mixture, chemically cleaned the crankcase and then changed the oil. The car acts fine and sounds fine. Has this introduction of coolant to the engine sealed it's fate? Will it end up dying at some point.
