Ca n I pull the crankshaft out without pulling the motor out? Or can I just replace rod bearings with a scored crankshaft on #2-3 bearing surfaces? If I put new bearings in it and slightly polish crank will that work? Or what problems will I have?

you can do it without pulling the engine. but i suggest doing so. it makes it alot easier and prevents the rod bolts from scoring up the new crankshaft because you need a new one.

if you dont the old bearigns will go out and you will need to get new rod bearings in no time.
