1998 Saturn SW2 A/C Sound OK, pressure is good, but air is

Hello, my a/c sound normal (I can also hear the compressor starting) and the pressure gage indicates 60psi. should I use those repair kit they sell and empty the lines before refilling it ? is it realy nescessary to have it empty by vacumed ?

Your low side read's 60psi?If that's true that's way too high it's suppose to be under 30psi.When you turn on you a/c does your radiator fan come on too.
