Hi there,

You will need to go and get a cooling system pressure test done, this will locate any external coolant leaks, have this done with the engine hot and the heater system on, start here.

I was wondering if you knew how much a pressure test might run, and if my car can still pass emissions?

Hi there,

A cooling system pressure test will take all of about 5 min, so it should not cost much at all, as for emission testing as i am in Australia i am unsure as to your requirements, but i feel that it should no be a concern unless it is a serious leak.
