1996 Saturn SW2 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

for some reson my saturn lost its reverse it goes in to drive fine there is no leaks or bunt smell in the fliude and there is plunty of fluid in it. what would cuase this and how do i fix it?

I need you to go to a auto part's store like auto zone and see what code number's you have and let me know what they are.Also if you rev it up in reverse will it go into reverse?
