When you put it into reverse, it takes about 3 seconds to engage.
Is this a band adjustment, and can I do it in my driveway?
I have all the tools, and used to work on older cars.
This is my daughter's and she expects me to fix this.
Is it an easy fix??

its most likely a pressure problem probably has a bad pressure regulator which is located in the valvebody and u would have to change the whole valve body or u have a second gear piston leaking which reverse shares the clutches with unless ur comfortable checking the trans pressure and removing the valvebody and air checking the clutches then i would say leave it to a professionial.let me know.
