Last night I was driving home and heard a loud popsounded like tire blew I pulled over and checked and looked under to see if anything was dragging nothing when I started to excelerate it got very loud and when I would press on the gas its very loud but my engine light doesnt come on so what could this be

Check all your spark plugs, one may have been blown out of it's hole.
