1996 Saturn Sport Coupe electric fan

Electric fan is not engaging, checked fuses and relay and are ok. Also checked fan motor and also worked with direct votage. Is there a sending unit that turns on the fan, that is in the engines coolant?

There is a coolant temp sensor screwed into the head below the lower radiator hose if ur going to change that then make sure u check the connector to make sure its not all corroded some of the sensor leaked into the connectors corroding them if it is change the connector too. Let me know what u find.
