Noises problem
2002 Saturn SL2 4 cyl Automatic 22700 miles

I have a 2002 Saturn SL2. When the engine is running I notice that it is making squeaking noises. I'm not sure if this is due to a belt near the engine that needs to be replaced or some other issue.

Do you have any ideas?

when u turn on the a/c and drive does the squeaking turn into a squel?let me know.

No, the squeaking does not turn into a squeal after I turn on the A/C and drive.

I took my car to Merlin's and they said that I had an old belt and an old pulley. So I'm getting those problems fixed. I'll let you know if I still have problems.
