It's pulled off with a special puller and pressed on with a special tool as well.u can ethier buy the tools which aren't too expensive and the tools work on the American cars.u can also possibley rent the tools from a auto parts tool or maybe the auto parts store u get the pump from can help u out.let me know if u get the tool and need more help and also how it goes.
