1998 Saturn SL2 3rd brake light

My 3rd brake light stays on only when lights are on. When you push on the brake pedal my instrument cluster light and radio lights brighten as well as the 3rd brake light. Thanks in advance.

Have you replaced any blubs in your left or right tail lights?If so which ones?Let me know.

Not sure about the bulbs only had car few months. I know the interior dome light was replaced and was purchased through saturn. I also noticed that when lights are off and I hit the brake the lights come on until I let off brake pedal. Thanks again.

Here's what I want you to do check all your fuses then check both your brake blubs tell me what the blub numbers are.Make sure you don't have a single element blub in one of the brake blub sockets.You will be able to see thru the blub you will ethier see two elements or one element.To check the blubs you will have to open the trunk and remove the T-15 torx screws to take them out.Let me know.
