Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Saturn SL2 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I am having a hard time removing the crank pulley bolt. My 1/2in. snap-on impact won't break it loose. I have also tried a 2ft. breaker bar with no success.

I have a ir 2112 composite the plastic one 1/2" drive and have always been able to take them off.have never tried to take one off by hand though there really tight some times.it comes off counter clockwise.when I have had a tough time getting one off I used the rocking method where I tighten then loosen it tighten an loosen.that works pretty good too.what air pressure are u running to ur impact gun. Let me know.
