when i start slowing down for stops rpms jump up as i slow down what could this be

Do u have any codes if u haven't checked yet go to a auto parts store and have the codes checked if u have any let me know the code numbers.also do u have any other symptoms besides the increase in rpms when u slow down and how high do the rpms get when u slow down?also how many rpms does ur car idle at when hot in park?let me know.
