My cooling fan wont turn on but will when I turn on the a/c just put in a new etc

Power the fan from the battery if it turns on check and test the fan relay-

If ur cooling fan comes on with the a/c but not when ur car gets to 222-226 degrees then I would replace the coolant temp sensor it's screwed into the head below where the upper hose attaches. There's two wires going to it a yellow one and black one. Also check the connector if it's corroded then replace the connector as well. Make sure u get a brass tipped the plastic tipped ones crack. Make sure the engine is cold and u will loose some coolant. Let me know how it goes.

I have the same problem and can not figure it out - I replaced the temp sensor, flushed the radiator, tested the fan with battery and it worked, changed the fan relay and still can not get the fan to turn on - should I just hard wire it and manually turn it on/off? Please give me advice - thank you
