I replaced alternator because diodes were bad, charged battery, car started fine. Drove to advance auto parts, had car tested, alternator, starter, battery, and current/amp draw.02 all ok. Battery discharged overnight. Battery is 3 years old. Could the bad alternator have damaged battery cells but let the battery hold a good charge for the test and possibly fooled the testing equipment?
