i replaced alternator because diodes were bad, charged battery, car started fine.drove to advance auto parts, had car tested, alternator, starter, battery, and current/amp draw .02 all ok.battery discharged overnight.battery is 3 years old.could the bad alternator have damaged battery cells but let the battery hold a good charge for the test and possibly fooled the testing equipment?

yes u could have a bad battery that tests good but just wont hold a charge over night and its 3yrs old so the alternator could have been the last straw for the battery.hope this helps let me know how it goes.
