Unclip lower splash shield and place a 1 x 1 x 2 inch long block of wood between torque strut and cradle.
Remove three righthand upper engine torque axis mount to front cover attaching nuts, allowing engine to rest on block of wood.
Remove accessory drive belt, idler pulley, tensioner, crankshaft damper and power steering pump.
Remove front cover attaching bolts.
Using a screwdriver, pry front cover at upper and lower corners to remove.
Reverse procedure to install. Tighten attaching bolts to specifications in sequence, Fig. 24 .
Then bring cylinder number 1 and 4 to top dead center and remove the timing chain tenisor and guide's then the chain.
