My driver side window doesn't want to roll down all the way. It goes down about 30% of the way down but stops. I hear a clicking noise. So if anyone could help please let me know thanks.

Wow replacing the door that's alot work compared to a window regulator.u could just have a bad window regulator in that junk yard door very possible.if u can hear the window regulator clicking in the door u know it's getting power so now u just have to figure out if the window is binding or u have a regulator.u have to remove the outter door skin and unbolt the window and see if it slides up and down freely the window nuts takes a special socket made By OTC u can try to get the nuts off without it nut I doubt u will be able too.u can probably find one online let me know if u can find the socket or what u figure out.

Yeah it is alot of work cause I figured it would be cheaper and easier to do it that way but I found out that it's hard. Well i took out the outer and inside skin and it clicks as I roll it down but stays at that same spot. What does the regulator look like. Also could it possibly be a window control module problem? Thanks

There's a website that sells OTC Saturn window sockets go to www.etoolcart.com there's a specialty tools section click Saturn tools and u will see it Theres no window module on that car.make sure u have power and ground to the motor and if doesn't move anymore then u probably have a bad motor but make sure ur regulator gear isn't worn out otherwise u have to replace the the whole thing.once u get that window loose then u can see if it's binding and go from there.let me know what u find and how It goes.

What are some of the signs of a bad regulator? Cause the other door looks like the regulator is good. But I guess looks can be deceiving. Thanks

If u can find a store that sells OTC tools the number is OTC7827 I don't know of one where u live u could call around and maybe find one that does now that u have the number for it.as far as see if its binding like I said before if unbolt the window u can then move the glass up and down with the glass even and see if it moves freely let me know what u find.
