ENGINE PINGS ON ACCELRATION, WHAT COULD BE THE POSSIBLE CAUSE FOR THE PREIGNITION, WOULD THE KNOCK SENSOR BE FAULTY, IF IT IS WHERE WOULD IT BE LOCATED AND HOW DIFFICULT WOULD IT BE TO CHANGE IT. THANK YOU

Carbon build up, timing, low octane fuel are some possiblities. First I would check the computer for codes to see if any are present before any part replacement. Knock sensor:
