WHY DOES MY CAR KICK WHEN IT IS IN REVERSE?

Do you mean you have a delay and a bang into reverse?Also go to auto part's store like auto zone and have them scan your car for code's and let me know what the number's are if you have any.Also any trouble in any of your forward gear's?

YES, IT DELAYS AND BANGS WHEN I PUT IT IN REVERSE AND IT CONTINUES BANGING WHILE I AM REVERSING.

I would remove the transmission side cover and inspect the input shaft nut and see if it was loose real common for that year and model to loosen up.Then i would check the min and max pressure when it was hot then i would remove the valve body and air check the clutches and make sure there all holding.Do you have any code's?
