My problem is similar to another one I saw posted on August 20th. I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel pump relay a few times, the entire fuse block, and still the relay keeps going out and car will not start. Put new relay in, and last for a day. For quit some time the guages on the dash at times would go off and immedaitely come back on while driving, like a short somewhere.

I have had to 3 different mechanics and they can not figure out the problem. I have put a lot of money into and still not fix,

Hello, when the vehicle refuses to start, do you have spark at the plugs? Have you used a fuel pressure gage on it? Have you tried a different brand of relay? Have you checked the relay circuits? I noticed the fuel pump relay not only sends voltage to the fuel pump, but also the transaxle. All those circuits are fused, I don't know why the problem wouldn't would blow a fuse before hurting the relay? Did you check for a good ground at the pump?
